The installation 10 Days - 100 Photos reconstructs the exhibition of the same name shown in 1980/81 in the Galerie Hubert Winter, Seilergasse 19. The artist preceded the exhibition catalogue with a poem, the poem was part of the small booklet Birgit produced for the exhibition in 1980. We thought it's a nice thing to show it together at the Kunstforum, but it's not an integral part of the work:
Seeking my reflection,
I penetrated your water surface.
Following a goldfish,
I happily found a pilgrim´s staff.
Thus recognised as as sherpherdess
I ascended,
swimming against all tides.
